Committee members are required to possess current HFMA certification and as such, are eligible to serve as exam proctors. |

CFO Roundtable Eric Delgado, CHFP, MBA Ensure the educational and networking needs of the Senior Financial Executives of the chapter are met through educational programs or networking events. Assist the membership committee in meeting National goals of SFE membership. |

Education Outreach Committee Carl R. Hill Due to the extremely large geographic size of our chapter, we offer educational events in areas such as Riverside/San Bernardino, Kern (Bakersfield) and Orange Counties. This committee plans educational events to meet the needs of members in these outlying areas. The committee also plans and develops new means to bring educational programs and reach out to a broad audience via Webinar, audio webcasting and/or Podcasting. |

Fall Conference James Moynihan, FHFMA, MBA Responsible, in conjunction with the Northern California chapter, for all aspects of planning and coordinating this multi-day event that was formerly the Managed Care Conference but is now broadening its scope by adding Finance and PFS tracks. |

Founders Points Donna J. Anglin, FHFMA, MBA Coordinates the annual reporting of Founders Points on behalf of chapter members. |

Government Programs John T. (Jack) Gilbertson, Chair Donna Anglin, FHFMA, Co-Chair This committee shares overall responsibility for planning, developing, producing and presenting a series of educational seminars (tracks) to satify the professional education and development needs of Chapter members with an interest in Medicare cost reporting and reimbursement systems. This committee meets on a regular basis, usually monthly. |

Legislative David L. Volk, Esq. Provides a legislative update at each of the three chapter seminars to keep members informed of changes in the regulatory environment. |

Long Term Care This committee shares overall responsibility for planning, developing, producing and presenting a series of educational seminars (tracks) to satify the professional education and development needs of Chapter members with an interest in Long Term Care. |

Membership Committee Genevieve Nelwan This committee is charged with building the Chapter's membership through new member recruiting and member retention. Helps coordinate new member welcome packets and ensure member satisfaction. |

Membership Directory Lori M. Kuwahara Produces the chapter membership directory each year. |

Networking and Social Functions King Bechtel Plan events throughout the year such as attend a professional baseball game or wine tasting. Plans the chapter annual holiday and awards functions and other events where members can meet, network and socialize. |

Newsbrief Kristina R. Cabral,Chair Anthony Lewis, Co-Chair Responsible for the publication and distribution of the Chapter Newsletter (Newsbrief). The objective is to provide the membership with local, regional and National educational information that will foster and increase their knowledge of specific topics and to highlight chapter events to members. Committee members compose or solicit articles to ensure that the Chapter produces five to six high quality issues per year. |

Program Planning Scott Ujita This committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the three annual Chapter educational seminars including general sessions/keynote speakers, site arrangements, creation/distribution of the brochure, assisting with registration and tracking evaluations. |

Region 11 Symposium Victoria Morgan, FHFMA This committee is responsible for all facets of planning, organizing and developing the Region 11 Symposium, held annually in Las Vegas during January, either as the lead chapter or one of the co-leads. |

Revenue Cycle Committee Jerilin Cummings This committee shares overall responsibility for planning, developing, producing and presenting a series of educational seminars (tracks) to satify the professional education and development needs of Chapter members with an interest in PFS and Compliance. |

Sponsorship James M. Cummings Responsible for obtaining sponsors for chapter events. |

Student Recruitment/Mentorship/Scholarship Samuel J. King, FHFMA - Chair James Brady, PhD - Co Chair Jillian M. Burke - Co Chair Work with Faculty Advisors to inform/recruit students at the Graduate level Health or Business programs at various Southern California universities. Provide Chapter members to speak to students on healthcare careers and issues. Coordinate the Scholarship Program. |
